They are flexible, comfortable and effective. And unlike waist trainers, they do not have a rigid steel or plastic boning.

WHEN CAN I WEAR A WAIST TRAINER?
It is not advisable to wear a waist trainer after gallbladder surgery.
However, if necessary, you can start wearing one only after you are entirely healed from the operation. According to the NHS – depending on the type of removal procedure, it will take a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of eight weeks for complete recovery. Hence, you can start wearing the trainer after this period.
However, do not take measures on your own without proper consultation with your surgeon. This step is vital because your doctor will point out the risks with your condition in mind.Avoid wearing the trainer throughout the day. And make sure you remove it before going to bed since there are more risks associated with wearing the trainer to sleep.
